Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are outweighed by your rights, and we have concluded they are not. You can object to this use at any time — see section 13.
If you have used our services, or asked us for a quotation, we may occasionally contact you by email, text or phone about similar electrical services, offers or reminders — for example when your EICR is due for renewal. This is permitted under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
You can tell us to stop at any time, and we will. Every marketing message we send will include a way to opt out, and you can also email or call us using the details in section 16. Opting out of marketing will not affect any work we are carrying out for you.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone for marketing purposes.
We take photographs of installations as part of testing, certification and record-keeping. We may also wish to use photographs of completed work on our website, in our Electrical Projects gallery, or on social media.
Where we use photographs publicly we will not identify your address or any personal details, and we will ask you first. If you would rather we did not use photographs of your property at all, just tell us and we will keep them for our records only.

When information is no longer needed it is securely deleted or destroyed.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. In practice this means:
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and we will tell you, and the Information Commissioner’s Office where required, if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights.
Most of your information is stored in the UK or the European Economic Area. Some of our service providers, including Google, process data in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK law — either a UK adequacy decision (such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not carry out profiling.
